Interview with Erin
by The Cabana Boy
CB: Erin, what attracted you to the Reality Stars calendar project?
Erin: I figured my family was running out of things to heckle me about lately. Plus, Valerie (Penso, "Temptation Island") asked me if I'd do it, and since we are friends, I said, "Sure."
CB: Were they any memorable moments from the calendar shoot?
Erin: Probably sweating my butt off in the make up chair.... (It was one of those memorably hot LA days.)
CB: You may be best known for your two staring roles in NBC's "For Love or Money." How do you feel you were portrayed on those two series?
Erin: Actually, I feel pretty fortunate. I remember laughing a lot more during filming than what they actually showed. The guys were hysterical.
CB: You are known as one of the biggest winners in realiity history, but was it really all about love for you?
Erin: I definitely wasn't looking for a romance at the time. I did it more for the experience, and I'm a sucker for a good bet. Looking back, I was a bit nuts, but I'm glad I did it.
CB: How do you respond to people who think reality TV is completely staged?
Erin: "For Love or Money" wasn't staged. I can't speak for other shows. It's no secret that the networks and producers do whatever they can to encourage dramatic interactions. Real life drama is usually better than anything that can be planned out.
CB: The internet is always awash with speculation and rumors. Are there any misconceptions about you that you want to clear up?
Erin: Where do I start?.... (CB: We'll when you decide on something, let us know.) ;)
CB: What have you been working on recently? Will we be seeing you on air again soon?
Erin: I'm back to my software dork ways. Living in San Francisco, working in Sales and Marketing, shlepping software, and doing a bit of modelling with Look. I'm actually really enjoying my life right now.
CB: Tell us something about Erin that we shouldn't know. Share your secrets...
Erin: Hmmm, give me a minute on that...
CB: Where can people find out more about Erin?
Erin: I dont have a web site, but i'll let you know if I ever put one up. I suppose a Google search will show up a few links. (CB: Only 57.500 links on Google, and 67,900 on Yahoo, but who is counting...)
