Interview with Sarah
by The Cabana Boy ("CB")
CB: Sarah, after appearing in Playboy (July 2003), and the "Loaded " (Dec 2004), what attracted you to the reality stars calendar project?
Sarah: I haven't done a lot of other reality stuff since my shows...but the calendar seemed like a fun project and I also like to do a few photo shoots a year to motivate me to keep in shape ;)
CB: Were they any memorable moments from the calendar shoot?
Sarah: Oh, lots!! plenty of "wardrobe malfunctions" for one thing. Also, it was basically a lot of fun...I got to hang out with other reality stars that I didn't know well before. It was fun to watch all the drama unfold when the vodka came out.
CB: You may be best known for "Joe Millionaire" where over 40 million people saw you. What is the biggiest misconception about you that people have, and what is the truth?
Sarah: Most of my image on the show is a misconception (the cattiness, the "gold digging"), but of course, the biggest misconception is 'The Woods.' I still have revenge fantasies about Fox for that one!!
CB: What have you been working on recently? Where can people see you?
Sarah: I am pretty careful about what projects I take...which is why you don't see me all over the place, taking every chance I get to be on TV. I know all too well the difference between "good" attention and "bad" attention in the media, and a lot of these shows that I'm offered are really just trying to make fools out of you. For me to do something now, it has to be something that I think will be fun and challenging. I am really excited because I just completed a Western film with director Jean Claude La Marre, where I have a leading role as a gun-slinging cowgirl!! It won't be out till next year...but it was really fun to shoot!
CB: I've heard that you love to travel. Where have you been to recently, and do you have any future travel plans?
Sarah: Travel for sure is my biggest passion in life! So far this year, I have been to Hawaii, India, Mexico, Spain, The Bahamas, and lots of places in around the country. I wish I'd get an offer for a travel show!!! I go back east a lot to visit my family and stay in touch with my best friends from college. My next planned trip is in August to Virginia and North Carolina to visit a college friend and celebrate her five year old daughter's birthday!
CB: Are you single and what do you look for in a relationship?
Sarah: I am single after an agonizing on-again, off-again two-year trainwreck! My last boyfriend proved to be a big liar, and the most important thing to me in a relationship is honesty...so that's what I'm looking for: Honesty, humor, confidence, intelligence. I also want someone who posseses a kind of nobility --which seems to be an obsolete concept today! (CB: Guys, the line forms BEHIND me!)
CB: What really happened in the bushes on that "date" with Evan?
Sarah: We walked forever...talked about the show, life, etc. (we were pretty gregarious after that wine tasting!!), sat and looked at the moon for awhile, and then we kissed a few times, Evan got up, peed on a tree (romantic, huh??) and then we walked back up to the chateau...
CB: Tell us something about Sarah that we don't know .
Sarah: I have a degree in Philosophy, a B.A. in Communications, and moved to LA to attend law school before the show. I also won runner up in the Hunker County Fair "Miss Jr. Homemaker" contest when I was 12...I bake a mean loaf of bread! There's a whole different side of me that Fox chose to ignore when type-casting me on JM!
CB: Where can people find out more about Sarah Kozer?
